KGC Garage Door (“we”, “us”) operates kgcgaragedoor.com. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a quote form or call us, we collect the details you provide, typically your name, phone number, email address, service address or town, and a description of the problem with your door. We collect this because we cannot quote or schedule a repair without it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records standard technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed, and the site or search that referred you. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.
How we use it
- Responding to your enquiry and providing a quote
- Scheduling and carrying out the work
- Contacting you about an appointment or a job in progress
- Keeping records required for warranty and accounting
- Improving the website
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate, such as our website host and our email delivery provider, and only to the extent needed to do that work. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and job records are kept for as long as needed to service warranties and meet accounting obligations, and then deleted.
Cookies
The site uses cookies needed for it to function and to understand general traffic patterns. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as expected if you do.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
